Pig Farmer
Woman Entrepreneur
How do you do. People in my village call me Sina. I’m a 43 year old widow. I’m living with one of my nieces and my elderly mother. I’m a rice farmer, and also work as a labourer in my community. I earn my family’s main income, supporting the whole family of 3 members. We live in a small, old house in a remote area of the Nhor credit union. My business goal is to develop a pig farming business and eventually build it into a successful micro-enterprise. Through this business I would like to generate a stable income for my family, so that I can improve our quality of food, my niece’s education, access to facilities, and change our overall standard of living.
